Huayun Minvisda Radar (Beijing) Co., Ltd. is a national-level high-tech enterprise jointly established by China Huayun Meteorological Technology Group Co., Ltd., a directly affiliated unit of the China Meteorological Administration, and Lockheed Martin Corporation of the United States in 1995. In August 2015, through a share transfer, the company was transformed from a joint venture to a wholly-owned state-owned subsidiary of China Huayun Group.
As the main supporting unit of the Key Open Laboratory for Intelligent Meteorological Observation Technology of the China Meteorological Administration, the company has successively received honors and awards such as a Zhongguancun High-tech Enterprise, a "Specialized and Innovative" Enterprise in Beijing, a National Meteorological Work Advanced Unit, a First Prize for Science and Technology Progress in Beijing, and a First Prize for Science and Technology Award in Guangdong Province.
