Huayun Minvisda Company Profile

Huayun Minvisda Radar (Beijing) Co., Ltd. is a national-level high-tech enterprise jointly established by China Huayun Meteorological Technology Group Co., Ltd., a directly affiliated unit of the China Meteorological Administration, and Lockheed Martin Corporation of the United States in 1995. In August 2015, through a share transfer, the company was transformed from a joint venture to a wholly-owned state-owned subsidiary of China Huayun Group. 



As the main supporting unit of the Key Open Laboratory for Intelligent Meteorological Observation Technology of the China Meteorological Administration, the company has successively received honors and awards such as a Zhongguancun High-tech Enterprise, a "Specialized and Innovative" Enterprise in Beijing, a National Meteorological Work Advanced Unit, a First Prize for Science and Technology Progress in Beijing, and a First Prize for Science and Technology Award in Guangdong Province. The company's Party branch has been successively rated as an Advanced Base Party Organization of the Directly Affiliated Organs of the China Meteorological Administration and a "Four Strong" Party Branch of the Central and State Organs. In terms of service and guarantee, the company has completed high-quality meteorological service guarantee tasks for extreme weather such as typhoons and heavy rains, as well as major events such as the Beijing Olympics, the 9th Asian Winter Games, and the 12th World Games.

The company mainly engages in the research, development, manufacturing, sales and service of high-performance, high-stability and cost-effective professional meteorological products. By integrating domestic and foreign meteorological and electronic technologies, through "external introduction and internal linkage", it has independently developed more than 10 series of products including advanced microwave types (weather radars, wind profile radars, cloud measurement radars, ground-based navigation satellite water vapor ionosphere comprehensive detection system), optical types (wind measurement laser radars, laser cloud height meters, laser raindrop spectrometers, runway visibility meters, aerosol laser radars, atmospheric particulate matter concentration measurement instruments), and professional software types (China's new-generation weather radar business application software, urban network integrated radar business software). Among them, the company's flagship product, the S and C band weather radar technology, has reached international advanced levels. These two weather radars, with their precise detection capabilities, efficient data processing speeds and stable performance, have become the preferred and main equipment of China's new-generation weather radar network, and have been exported to countries such as South Korea, as well as Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China and Macao Special Administrative Region of China. 



After nearly 30 years of reform and development, Huayun Minvisada Company has gradually established the business philosophy of "leading technology, first-class quality, based in China, and going global". As of now, 1,435 products have been applied both domestically and internationally, among which 1,411 are domestic and 24 are overseas. The company has obtained 69 patents (including 47 invention patents and 22 utility model patents), 43 software copyrights, led the formulation of 6 industry standards, and participated in the formulation of 1 national standard. The quality of Huayun Minvisada products is stable and reliable, receiving unanimous praise from domestic and foreign users.
